Media Registration for 32nd Annual Chamber Dinner Ends Today

Event program to feature keynote address by Michael Strahan, "Conversation with Pennsylvania's Governors" segment

HARRISBURG - Media registration for the 32nd Annual Pennsylvania Chamber Dinner will close today, Thursday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. Those interested in covering the event must register online at www.chamberdinner.com by accessing the "Register to Attend" link, followed by the "Media Registration" icon at the bottom of the page.

 

Hall of Fame football player, successful entrepreneur and popular national television broadcaster Michael Strahan will give the evening’s keynote address. The dinner program also will feature a dynamic dialogue with Pennsylvania’s governors – who will discuss their experiences in office and share their unique perspective on events that shaped the Commonwealth during their tenure. This segment of the program will feature Gov. Tom Wolf and former Governors Tom Corbett, Mark Schweiker and Tom Ridge.

Audio, video and traditional “pen and paper” coverage by credentialed media is permitted for the “Conversation with Pennsylvania’s Governors” portion of the program. The following coverage guidelines apply for Strahan’s keynote address:

 

MEDIA COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE KEYNOTE ADDRESS

  • Print media: Only traditional “pen and paper” press coverage of Michael Strahan’s remarks is permitted. Audio recording is prohibited. Still photography (no flash) is permitted only during the first three minutes of Strahan’s presentation. Personal cameras, cell phone cameras and all recording devices must be turned off during the keynote address.
  • TV stations: B-roll footage is permitted only during the first three minutes of Strahan’s keynote address.
  • Only credentialed media are permitted to cover the event. PA Chamber media credentials will be distributed on-site at the Hershey Lodge on the night of the event. Both PA Chamber media credentials and media outlet credentials must be visible to gain entry to the Great American Hall, where the program will take place. Media outlets interested in covering the event need to register by Thursday, Sept. 22. The PA Chamber will confirm credentialed status by Friday, Sept. 23.
  • Media check-in will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the registration desk in the Great Lobby on Monday, Sept. 26.
  • PA Chamber representatives will be available for interviews, and b-roll footage of the pre-dinner Gala Reception and other general activity is welcome. The reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Chocolate Ballroom.
