Musselman’s Apple Cider Takes Inaugural “Best of Fall” Title, Celebrates with Sweepstakes

With the longest autumn foliage season in the world, the most fall festivals planned in the nation, and a bevvy of beloved treats and beverages enjoyed state and nationwide – no state does fall quite like Pennsylvania. The PA Chamber recently showcased 32 of Pennsylvania’s top traditions, experiences, and treats in the inaugural “Best of Fall” contest that took place this month by public voting on the PA Chamber’s X and Instagram pages. Three weeks, thousands of votes, and close to 200,000 social media impressions later, Musselman’s Apple Cider took home the “Best of Fall” title in a resounding victory over the statewide, timeless fall pastime of apple picking.

Musselman’s, a company-branded business within Knouse Foods Cooperative, Inc., is part of a grower-owned cooperative made up of approximately 100 Pennsylvania farming families. Since 1907, those families have nurtured 15,000 acres of fruit orchards to produce apple products – including the “Best of Fall”-winning cider – that can be purchased by customers both in grocery stores and online.

The winning team celebrated with a visit to the PA Chamber’s office, where they “toasted” to their success (with cups of cider, of course!) and announced that in recognition of their victory, they’ll be hosting a sweepstakes for a VIP visit to a family farm, “giving some lucky folks the opportunity to experience our generational heritage firsthand, and seeing what truly makes Musselman’s unique and exceptional,” Knouse Foods Cooperative, Inc.’s CEO Rich DiFrischia said in a press release.

As the state’s largest broad-based business association representing half of Pennsylvania’s private sector workforce, the PA Chamber represents many unique and dynamic businesses. We were honored to celebrate 32 autumnal favorites in this engaging, creative contest, and we look forward to continuing the tradition next year.
