ChamberPAC Endorses Michael Stender for 108th House District Special Election
ChamberPAC, the political arm of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, today announced its endorsement of Republican candidate Michael Stender for the upcoming Special Election in Pennsylvania’s 108th House District, comprising all of Montour County and part of Northumberland County. The Special Election is scheduled for Tuesday, May 16, 2023, coinciding with the Primary Election, to fill the seat recently vacated by state Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver after she won her race for state Senate.
“ChamberPAC is proud to endorse Michael Stender for the state House. We believe that Mike’s long-held record of community service and dedication to public safety demonstrates his commitment to keeping Pennsylvania’s communities healthy and vibrant. His knowledge of the issues facing the Commonwealth’s business community will make him a strong pro-business voice in the state Capitol,” PA Chamber President and CEO Luke Bernstein wrote in a letter announcing Stender’s endorsement.
“For those reasons, we believe that voters in the 108th House District would be well served to have Mike Stender represent them in the state House,” the letter continued.
